The commemorative hiking tours and the 4th edition of the “Károly Kós” biking endurance tour are organised within the framework of the 9th edition of the Hungarian Cultural Days of Cluj, this time on four tracks of various lengths:
• Kós 25 Cycling Tour (24 km): Reformed Parish of Dumbrava (START between 10:30–11:00) – Leghia resthouse – Ordományos – Riszeg Plateau / Riseg – Stana, Szentimrei Villa (ARRIVAL).
• Kós 35 Cycling Tour (34 km): (NOVELTY): Reformed Church of Stana (START between 11:00–12:00) – Reformed Church of Petrinzel – Almaşu – Cetatea Almaşului – Reformed Church of Sfăraş – Reformed Church of Jebucu – Riszeg Plateau / Riseg – Stana, Szentimrei Villa (ARRIVAL).
• Kós 40 Cycling Tour (40 km): National road portion along the village of Gârbău (START between 10:00–10:30) – Cetăţeaua Hill (Gyerőffy-szöktető) – Reformed Parish of Dumbrava – Leghia resthouse – Ordományos – Riszeg Plateau / Riseg – Stana, Szentimrei Villa (ARRIVAL)
• Kós 60 Cycling Endurance Tour (61 km): Cluj, Reformed Church with Rooster (START between 7:00–7:30) – Hoia Forest – Hoia Hill – Mortănuşa Hill –Báthori Hill – National Road portion along the village of Gârbău – Cetăţeaua Hill (Gyerőffy-szöktető) – Reformed Parish of Dumbrava – Leghia resthouse – Ordományos – Riszeg Plateau / Riseg – Stana, Szentimrei Villa (ARRIVAL)
Note:
• Transportation for the participants of the K25 course will be ensured to the START point in the centre of the village of Dumbrava
• Transportation for the participants of the K35 course will be ensured to the START point in the centre of the village of Dumbrava
• The participants of the K40 course will be transported to the Bendkopp intersection on National Road DN1-E60 between Gilău and Căpuşu Mare. The START point will be the culminating point of the portion of national road along the village of Gârbău, at a distance of 4.7 km.
• From the ARRIVAL point, the participants of the cycling tours will have to pedal approximately 6 more km to reach transportation home.

The Commemorative Excursions and the 15th edition of the “Károly Kós” Endurance Tour are organised on three distances and four tracks:
• Kós 10 Excursion (11 km): Stana, CFR Railway Station (START between 8:30–9:30) – Snail Hill – Riszeg Plateau / Riseg – Szentimrei Villa (ARRIVAL)
• Kós 25A Excursion (26 km): Stana, CFR Railway Station (START between 8:30–9:30) – Reformed Church of Stana – Reformed Church of Petrinzel – Cetatea Almaşului – Reformed Church of Jebucu – Riszeg Plateau / Riseg – Szentimrei Villa (ARRIVAL).
• Kós 25B Excursion (24 km): Reformed Church of Stana (START between 8:45–10:00) – Reformed Church of Petrinzel – Cetatea Almaşului – Reformed Church of Jebucu – Riszeg Plateau / Riseg – Szentimrei Villa (ARRIVAL).
• Kós 55 Endurance Tour (53 km): Cluj, Reformed Church with Rooster (START between 6:30–7:00) – Hoia Forest – Hoia Hill – Mortănuşa Hill – Báthori Hill – National Road portion along the village of Gârbău – Cetăţeaua Hill (Gyerőffy-szöktető) – Reformed Parish of Dumbrava – Leghia, intersection leading to “Gipsurile” of Leghia – Ordományos – Riszeg Plateau / Riseg – Szentimrei Villa (ARRIVAL).
Note:
• Our recommendation for the participants of the Kós 10 and Kós 25A tours is to arrive at the Stana Railway Station by train and NOT by car (to protect the environment and because of the bad condition of the road and the low number of parking places: max. 10-15)
• Participants of the Kós 25B tour can get from Jebucu to the centre of the village of Stana on a macadam road of 4 km in good condition. They can leave their cars in the centre of the village of Stana until the end of the course.
• No return transportation to Cluj will be provided for the participants of courses Kós 10 and Kós 25 as they will be able to catch one of the afternoon trains.
• According to our calculations, the participants of endurance course Kós D55, will be able to return to Cluj by train, once they reach the ARRIVAL point, but for cases of emergency the organisers will be able to ensure return transportation by car.
Enrolment for the courses must be done IN ADVANCE (and NOT at the START):
• on Internet, on the dedicated site [www.ekekolozsvar.ro/teljesitmenyturak], after 15 July 2018
• at the institutions that had accepted to serve as enrolment points: the editorial office of the Szabadság newspaper and the office of the “Nyilas Misi” Talent Protection Association.

START hours are tentative; more precise information will be published later on the site of the 2018 “Károly Kós” Commemorative and Endurance Excursions and Tours.
