The newest adaption of this rock-opera will be the highlight and closing moment of the Hungarian Days of Cluj. The opera will be played by the „A Társulat" on th Main Square of the city. They will have a stage of 250 square meters, with a new setting and costumes. Besides the 40 members of the „Honvéd" group, they casted 50 more local dancers to be part of the show.
The music of the opera was composed by Szörényi Levente, the lyrics were written by Bródy János after the drama „Ezredforduló" written by Boldizsár Miklós. This opera was first put on stage 3 decades ago on a hill in Budapest, which was named „Királydomb", after the play.
According to Feke Pál, who plays the role of István, this play has been already viewed by more than 350 000 people. Hopefully, this number will be even higher after they play it in Kolozsvár, and that they will awe the whole population of Transylvania.
