FOLK MUSIC ORCHESTRA from Mădăraş/Csíkmadaras
Already known to the public in Cluj/Kolozsvár from the previous edition of the Hungarian Cultural Days, The Orchestra was set up in Mădăraş/Csíkmadaras in 2006. The past years have proven that Szeklerland does really need live folk music. The Orchestra has winos and wine drinker’s songs, as well as folk songs but also instrumental music in its repertoire. Performing exclusively live music, the Orchestra consists of 16 members – József Miklós jr., conductor and Éva Koós, Ibolya Vigh, Árpád Buta, Márton Maneszes and Tibor Petres as soloists.
