The BÁV Art in Black and White

The BÁV Zrt. – among its many other competencies – also undertakes to surface and to present the values represented by Hungarian fine arts. Therefore, at the exhibition organized on the Hungarian Cultural Days in Cluj, the visitors have the opportunity to look into the colourful world of contemporary Hungarian graphics art. The chamber exhibition, outlaying the works of Béla Kondor, Csaba Rékassy, István Orosz and Márton Takáts, offers a view of a rather restricted, but a more exclusive circle of followers of multiplication art in graphics, the masters ranging from the ones already known as classics, to the contemporary ones and ending up with the representatives of the youngest generations of graphics artists.

The exhibition presents series and groups of tematic works, nothing individual though. Telling “stories” and showing scenes of our daily lives, the exhibits come to profile different personalities and to snapshot important moments from Hungarian literature, history and culture, touching several fragile issues of the 21st century, and allowing  to sneak-peek into the exciting world of artistic creation.
